Oaxaca Hotel--Need help fast!

I am traveling to Oaxaca in 3 days with friends. They have booked us into the Lanoria Hotel which looks to be just outside the periferico, though it says 10 blocks to zocalo. Anybody know anything about this place? I prefer to be on or near the zocalo. Have always enjoyed La Senorial but have not been there since '96 and just read a 2003 review that was
